Eating Out for Cheap in Copenhagen

Along with much of Scandanavia, a short break in Copenhagen can be as expensive as walking on the moon.

From coffee to sausages, pretty much everything in Copenhagen is easily comparable to the prices of London, Paris or Tokyo.

Eating out for cheap in Copenhagen can be a pretty difficult task. But when we heard of a place where you could buy a meal out for less that £3.50, we jumped at the opportunity to find out more!

Papiroen Copenhagen Street Food is based on Paper Island, just across the water from Nyhavn. Built in an old warehouse, Papiroen is home to dozens of street vendors serving everything from pulled pork burgers to Korean Fusion rice bowls. There’s definitely something for every palette and every wallet under the cool indie inspired roof.

Check out our short video about Papiroen Copenhagen Street Food below:

Obviously, if Papiroen is still a little steep, there’s always a good old Netto.
